| Sunday
4 July 2004, when the Bishop of Ripon & Leeds preached
at our Choral Evensong. Interestingly the Priory Church was in the Ripon
Diocese for most of the 850 years of the Priory life, hence we asked
the Bishop of Ripon & Leeds (as he is now known) to preach. |

weekend of 20 June, 2004. The Archbishop of York preached
at a special Service of Thanksgiving in the afternoon. Earlier in the
afternoon, strawberry teas had been served in the Rectory Gradens. |

weekend of 13 June 2004. The Bishop of Bradford, the
Rt. Rev. David James confirmed 14 candidates. Following this service
there was a Parish Party in a marquee in the grounds, and the Priory
Pageant in the afternoon. |
