GARDEN PARTY AT THE RECTORY, - FRIDAY 10 AUGUST 2007

The final in the series of Garden Parties held to raise money for the Priory Church was held in the Rectory Garden on the evening of 10th August. The well attended garden party were treated to most enjoyable musical duet given by two students from Skipton Girls High School on a beautiful summer's evening.

THE PARISH PARTY, - SUNDAY 24 JUNE 2007

The Annual Parish party took place after the morning service on Sunday 17th June. Due to the bad weather it was held in the Boyle Room, but as the weather improved people were able to move onto the Rectors lawn. The photos were taken by Rosemary Murgatroyd (Church Warden).

The above photo shows pilgrims from the Priory Church on the Golan Heights. They were on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, led by the Revd James Turnbull which returned to Bolton Abbey at 4.00 a.m. on Wednesday 9 May. The above photo was taken by Rosemary Murgatroyd (also on the pilgrimage).

INDUCTION OF THE RECTOR (7 MARCH 2007)

The Induction of the Revd Canon George Moffat as the new incumbent of the Priory was celebrated by the Rt Revd Dr David Hope on Wednesday 7th March at 7.00 p.m.
This was followed by a reception in the Bolton Abbey Village Hall.
