Bolton Priory - Autumn Talks 2010
‘Life, Living and Belief: a personal
reflection’ - we have chosen this title partly because
our congregation’s have expressed an interest in hearing about the thoughts,
feelings and experiences of others regarding the effects and impact of belief
on life and living, and partly because it allows individual interpretation
by each speaker.
The Speakers have been asked to talk about their thoughts, feelings and experiences
concerning “Life, living and belief”, and having
asked each to present ‘a personal reflection’.
I am sure we can look forward to an outstanding series of Talks.
Please put these dates in your Diary so that we can make this series even
more successful than last year’s.
Each Talk will be given in The Priory Church, Bolton Abbey on a Friday
evening starting at 7 o’clock and will last up to an hour followed
by questions.

The Parish Party, - Sunday 13 June 2010
The Priory Parish Party was held after morning worship on Sunday
13th June. The rectors prayers were answered and the rain held off. Once again,
the excellent buffet lunch was organised by Barbara Hopkinson and Anna Hartley.
Having done this for the past four years they are now looking for volunteers
to organise next year's party.
We were pleased to have two visitors form Holland join us in what was a very
good turn out and much enjoyed by everyone.
James Pearson took some photos of the party. These are presented in the form
of a slide show, which can be viewed by selecting the thumbnail image below.
