The Friends Annual Spring Lecture, 14 March 2008
Dr W R Mitchell M.B.E. gave last night's Annual Spring Lecture
at Bolton Abbey Village Hall.
Bill Mitchell, the former Editor of the regional magazines "Dalesman"
and "Cumbria" gave a most amusing and enjoyable talk on his recollections
of "Wharfedale Folk."

The 2007 AGM
The 2007 Annual General Meeting was held on Sunday 20 May at
1215 in the Bolton Abbey Village Hall.
Rosemary Mugatroyd resigned as Hon Secretary after a total of 14 1/2 years
in office. She was thanked for all she had done for the friends and a presentation
was made by the Chairman.
Two other presentations were made, - one to Shelagh Sunner for representing
the PCC on the Friends Committee for the past 18 years, and one to the Revd
James Turnbull for all he has done for the Priory Church over the years.
Following the AGM, 61 friends enjoyed a excellent buffet lunch.
