We would be delighted to see any photos of the Priory Church, and its surroundings, taken by visitors. If you have enjoyed a day at Bolton Abbey, and have visited the Priory Church and the Priory ruins then why not send us your photos? We will place them on this page, for others to see. If you have any photos, then please contact James Pearson at jvpearson@tiscali.co.uk and we will see about placing them here.

Abbey Silhouette

The image below was sent to the website in February 2008 by Anne Browne (<browneanne@googlemail.com>) and is entitled "Abbey Silhouette". Anne writes;-
"The picture was taken June 2006, I just thought the sun shining behind the ruins look really beautiful and dramatic. My husband and I visited the Abbey because his great great grandfather George Chouler was a park keeper there for about thirty years and lived at Park House on the Estate. His grandmother Anne Louisa Chouler was christened at the Abbey along with her brother and sister. It was nice to see where they lived in such a beautiful idyllic setting."
