April Evening, Teesside

This print is a favourite of mine as it is a marker of a particular time in my life. The picture was taken in April 1996. The mood in the scene is a contemplative one, - the body language in the figure of my friend John says a great deal.

The picture was taken, using a Rollei 6002, one evening down by the North Gare in Teesside. The petrochemical industry in the background lies just beyond a small beach where seals regularly bask.
