Pipes

This was photographed on a Sulphuric Acid plant in Billingham. The early morning light reflected off the plant provided an irresistible opportunity to record the geometrical patterns of the gargantuan piping.

At the time I photographed the plant I was unaware that it was just about to cease operating, having been overtaken by new technology. Before too long the plant will have been demolished, and yet another part of Teesside will have lived, - and died.
